Coach Mike Gillespie and the Anteater coaching staff are proud to offer our 2008 high school camp schedule. This summer we will be offering two sessions of our popular Showcase camp, as well as one session of our new High School Instructional Camp. Enjoy the summer at beautiful Anteater Ballpark and learn from Division I players and coaches what it takes to bring your game to the next level.

HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL SHOWCASE CAMP
• Two Sessions: June 27-29 & August 15-17
• For Ages 15-18
• Location: Anteater Ballpark
• Cost: $225 for pitchers and $325 for all other positions
UC Irvine's Baseball High School Showcase Camps are a great way to highlight your talents in a competitive and challenging environment. Led by the Anteater coaching staff, these camps give high school age players the opportunity to be exposed to the coaches and learn their philosophies for success at the collegiate level. Players will be grouped into teams and face off head-to-head against each other at Anteater Ballpark. A unique mix of instruction and competition, these camps are the perfect experience for high school players to get a taste of collegiate baseball action!

Camp Includes: Competitive games, instructional skill sessions, defensive drills, batting practice sessions, strength and conditioning, UCI campus tour, and catered lunch each day.


HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL INSTRUCTIONAL CAMP
• July 14-18
• For Ages 14-18
• Location: Anteater Ballpark
• Cost: $450 per player
New for this summer, our High School Baseball Instructional Camp is an intensive five-day session designed to strengthen core fundamentals. This camp will consist of a rigorous schedule of drills and personal hands-on instruction from Anteater coaches and players. Spend this summer honing your five tools - this camp will help you get you where you need to be to distinguish yourself from the rest. Ages 14-18 are a pivotal point in a player's baseball development, so get the quality instruction necessary to strengthen your game!

Camp Includes: Personal instruction with veteran coaches, instructional skill and strategy sessions, competitive games, defensive drills, batting practice sessions, and catered lunch each day.

Proper baseball attire is required: baseball pants and cleats. Players should bring their gloves, batting gloves, and bats marked with their name. Catchers are required to bring their own catching gear.

Participants must park at Mesa Parking Structure which is adjacent to Anteater Ballpark. The Camps Office provides one 30 minute parking passes for drop-offs and pick-ups. For those parking in the structure longer, daily passes must be purchased from parking attendants.

All campers are responsible for their own transportation to/from UC Irvine. Parents are welcome to stay and watch the camp from the stands.
