Katherine Nielsen Class: Freshman Hometown: Irvine, Calif. High School: Irvine HS

Joins the Anteater program from Irvine High School....earned 2006 All-Pacific Coast League first-team honors in cross country after three consecutive similar honors in the Sea View League....four-time All-Orange County first-team cross country runner for coach Randi Rossi....earned All-CIF honors three years in cross country and twice in track....a triplet with sisters Jennifer and Christina....older sister Tanya is a senior on the UCI swimming team....planning to major in biology....parents are Jack and Linda Nielsen.
