Matt Murphy Named All-Far West Region Third Team

Matt Murphy earns All-Far West Region third team honors

IRVINE, Calif. - Junior midfielder Matt Murphy (Anaheim Hills/Mater Dei HS) has been named All-Far West Region third team by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.

Murphy led UCI in scoring for the second straight season with 20 points on the year. Murphy is tied for sixth all-time at UCI with 55 career points and is tied for sixth in goals with 22 in his career.

This is the first All-Far West Region honor for Murphy and he becomes the sixth Anteater to ever earn All-Far West Region honors.
