UCI hosts Winter Camps

IRVINE, Calif. - The UC Irvine men's soccer team will be holding both their Soccer ID Camps and Youth Day Camps throughout the winter season.

UCI will host a pair of Winter Youth Day Camps for boys and girls ages 5-12 with the first session going December 26th-28th and session two will be January 2nd-4th. Details for the Youth Day Camps can be found here.

Boys and girls ages 5-12 will enjoy learning the technical and tactical elements of the game at beautiful Crawford Field. Taught by UC Irvine players and coaches, the camp is focused on teaching the fundamental skills and introducing game strategy. Participants are grouped by age and experience.

Camp #1 December 26-28 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Cost $135.
Camp #1 January 2-4 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Cost $135.

UCI will also host their UCI Soccer ID Camps in January for high school and collegiate players. The first session is January 6th and the second is on January 20th. Details on the UCI Soccer ID Camps can be located here.

It has provided an opportunity for players to experience what it is like to be in a college, eating in a cafeteria, and training twice in a college setting. Camp #1 Sunday, January 6th from 9am-3pm Cost $135. Includes t-shirt, training, and lunch
Camp #2 Sunday, January 20th from 9am-3pm $135. Includes t-shirt, training, and lunch

The camp prepares players for the "next level" through demanding technical and tactical sessions while having competitive tournament play in the evenings.
