Victor Lamm Selected to NCAA Men's Tennis Singles Championship

Lamm selected to NCAA Championship

IRVINE, Calif. - Senior Victor Lamm (Paris, France) was selected to compete in the 2008 NCAA Men's Tennis Singles Championship after earning an automatic bid.  

Lamm was awarded a bid by being ranked No. 123 in the country the most recent ITA Rankings. Any conference with a player ranked in the top 125 of the ITA rankings is given an automatic qualifier to the championship. Lamm earned the automatic qualifier for the Big West Conference by being the only Big West player ranked.

Lamm will begin play Wednesday, May 21^st at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center in Tulsa, Okla. on the campus of the University of Tulsa.

Victor Lamm is the first Anteater to be selected for the NCAA Men's Tennis Singles Championship since Trevor Kronemann and Richard Lubner each represented UC Irvine in 1990.
