Six UCI Players Named Academic All-Conference

IRVINE, Calif. --- UC Irvine men's water polo players Kyle Baxter, Andrew Dunn, Greg Enloe, Jamie Frank, Matt Garcia and Tim Hutten have been named to the 2007 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) Academic All-Conference team.

Eligible student-athletes must have a 3.0 or better cumulative grade-point average, be at least a sophomore academically and have competed in 50 percent or more of the sport's contests.

Baxter, a sophomore from Fresno (Clovis West HS), scored six goals this season, as did Dunn, a senior from Santa Cruz (Harbor HS).

Enloe, a sophomore from Hanford (Hanford HS), had five goals while Frank, a sophomore from San Mateo (Aragon HS), notched 13 goals.

Garcia, a senior goalkeeper from Fountain Valley (Servite HS), made 214 saves in 25 starts and was named to the All-MPSF honorable mention team.

Hutten, a senior from Seal Beach (Los Alamitos HS), scored 75 goals en route to first team All-America honors. The MPSF Player of the Year led the nation with a scoring average of 3.75 goals per game.
