Irvine's Varsity Women Were Victorious Over Chapman UniversityMarch 19, 2008
Newport, Calif.- The anteaters raced Chapman University and the novice Cal Lightweights on Saturday March 15th. The varsity women quickly took the lead and won the race easily. The 2nd varsity 8 battled with Chapman's varsity 8 the entire way down the course, coming in 2 seconds behind. In the novice race the Cal lightweight women took the lead with Irvine's 1st novice boat racing right behind them. There was a battle for 3rd place against Irvine's 2nd novice boat and Chapman with Irvine coming out ahead. Come out and support Irvine at Berg Cup in Newport on March 29th. |
