Anteaters lose 12- to SJSU in UCI Invitational

IRVINE, Calif. - The No. 7 San Jose State Spartans defeated No. 10 UC Irvine 12-3 in the opening round of the UC Irvine Women's Water Polo Invitational Saturday at Anteater Aquatics Complex.

Tanya Torres, Adrianna Vogt and Juliet Moss each had three goals for San Jose State in the win.

The Spartans will face Stanford in the quarterfinals at 2:00 p.m. while UC Irvine will move into the consolation bracket and will play UC San Diego at 3:15 Saturday.
